Mike Epps: Delusional | Netflix As Executive Producer and Production Services lead, my role was to help shape the creative foundation that supported Mike Epps' latest Netflix comedy special from the ground up. Working closely with director Royale Watkins, Mike, and the venue team, every decision was approached with the same question: how do we create a space that feels unmistakably like Mike? From the opening sequence to the lighting design, camera language, and the relationship between Mike and the audience, every detail was carefully considered. Mike is an incredibly physical performer, so the visual approach needed to move effortlessly between the scale of the room and the intimacy of his storytelling, allowing his personality and energy to drive every frame. The production also marked the first time the Yaamava Resort & Casino had ever hosted a major television production, making the collaboration with their team an important part of bringing the show to life. It was a challenging and rewarding process that pushed every department, and delivering a comedy special at Netflix's level of quality is always an opportunity to raise the bar.
